Toxic algae in Indian River County lakes

11 lakes and waterways in Indian River County have harmful algal bloom reports in Florida's official data. The most recent entry is for Blue Cypress Lake: Florida's most recent sample from Blue Cypress Lake, on 17 December 2025 at Blue Cypress Lake - Center (BCL), found no visible bloom and no microcystin toxin was detected. Blue Cypress Lake and Stick Marsh have had blooms in three or more years.

Other waterbodies with a report

These have one or two reports in a single year, which isn't enough history for a page of their own yet.
